Frequently Asked Questions

What standards does Vietnam use for steel structures?

Vietnam uses TCVN (Vietnamese National Standards). TCVN 5575 is the steel structure design code, largely based on AISC 360. TCVN 2737 covers loads, including typhoon wind loads for southern Vietnam. These are very similar to Chinese GB standards, making design straightforward for Chinese manufacturers.

How was the 12m eave height designed?

The 12-meter eave height required 300mm x 300mm square columns with 20mm thick base plates, designed for both gravity loads and typhoon wind loads. The multi-level racking was integrated into the structural design, with floor load capacity of 3 tons/m² for racking areas.

What about typhoon wind loads in Vietnam?

Southern Vietnam is in a typhoon zone. We designed for basic wind speed of 35 m/s (Category 3 typhoon), with proper bracing systems, reinforced roof purlins, and wind-resistant roof panel fastening (clip-fastened rather than screw-through for high-wind areas).

How long does shipping take from China to Vietnam?

Shipping from Shenzhen to Ho Chi Minh City (Cat Lai Port) takes only 5-8 days, making Vietnam one of the fastest export destinations from China. Customs clearance is typically 2-3 days, so total port-to-site time is about 1 week. This fast transit allows for just-in-time delivery coordination with installation teams.
